Nandini Tyagi
Have you ever had the epiphany that eight billion people have their own lives with equal importance as yours?
All is here and there
All is a compilation
All is an eight billion
All is all the pages
in the book called the World
It is a bubble of All
Some we know, others
we don’t
Sometimes the bubble of All pops
The world we saw in a swirl of rainbow rivers
becomes dull and grey
All realises there are more to it
Seven billion
nine hundred and ninety nine million
nine hundred and ninety nine thousand
nine hundred ninety nine
more
Once the pfft of the bubble dissipating ends
The noise enters
The buzz and bang
The slaps and claps
There is more than my mind
more than my thoughts
More than
In a world so alone, so isolated, so selfish
It’s lonely on Earth
but sonder I relish
All have a life as complex as your own
A father
A mother
A friend
A lover
All have feelings and value whether you see it or don’t
A favourite food
A favourite song
A hatred
A fondness
To each their own.
